In 2001 Cappadocia opened its doors in Kingston. Starting out as a small restaurant and takeaway, We have grown over the years. In 2014 we opened our second branch in Walton. Our owner, executive chef, and many of our staff are Turkish and they proudly draw on their heritage to create a little corner of Turkey in the UK. Our chefs have been brought up with traditional Turkish cooking and trained to the highest standards in Istanbul.

I would not hesitate to come back here again. Staff were super friendly and couldn't do enough for you even though they were incredibly busy all over the restaurant. Service was quick and there was about 18 of us in our party. They catered for vegetarian and dairy free and spoke through the options for those individuals. There was so much food, the portions were insane and so much delicious meat. I'm not a lamb lover but it was divine. Excited already to come back again!!
Cappadocia is one of the best places for Turkish food. Lahmacun is my favourite, very tasty. The atmosphere and staff is excellent especially Bobo who I’ve know for few years now. He’s one of the best staff there, very friendly, helpful and loveable along with a lovely smile. ❤️
I am a regular of this place because it's impossible not to stop when I have to go to Kingston station (it's just in front of the station). I usually have lahmacun because it's great as quick snack, although I think the chicken kebab is probably the best kebab I've ever tried. Prices are very reasonable, and everything I've tried from this place has always been delicious and very tasty.
Lovely food, huge choice of cold and hot starters and a variety of mains. The staff were very attentive even refilling our glasses of wine with the bottle on the table. Will definitely be returning!
We came out of the cinema and decided to try this restaurant and what a find Fantastic food and the service was so friendly it made us feel at home Jimmy gave us a free after meal drink and had time for a friendly chat ALL THE GUYS AND DOLLS AT CAPPADOCIA THANK YOU
We, (2 adults and two under 5’s) visited on sat 5th May for a birthday meal and arrived just after 2pm. This was our first visit and sure won’t be our last. I read Cappadocia to have the best reviews in Kingston and it was also recommended by a friend. I totally get why. The Service was 10/10. The staff were so friendly, and attentive. We ordered the set menu at £24per person and I was amazed with the quality, flavour and the quantity. Had to take most of our main course home because we were so full from starters. The kids menu was good and overall the experience was excellent value for money. Thank you Cappadocia Kingston.
Best Turkish restaurant in London by far!, The food was delicious, generous. Mehmet the manager gave us such a fantastic service for my partner's birthday! Simply the best...highly recommended.
Found this by chance when looking for a restaurant next to the cinema in Kingston. Situated right on the one way system - great for the cinema opposite but perhaps not the most scenic location. First impressions - busy, noisy, not luxurious - but staff dressed smartly. Instantly seated (get a reservation) - menu was extensive - all my favourite Turkish dishes - even Pide - hadn't had that this visiting Kayseri (central Turkey- not far from Cappadocia). We totally over ordered - 3 starters & 2 mains. Every dish was a delight - falafel - humus - lamb - chicken. Best I have ever had in a Turkish restaurant. With 3 beers and a tip - it came to £70 - so not cheap for a Turkish restaurant - but this is seriously good food. We took what we couldn't eat in a take away bag - too good to leave behind. We will go back - often.
Just enjoyed dinner for five and ordered a wide variety of Turkish dishes including patlican sogurme, kisir, clay baked mushrooms, filibe kofte, arnavut cigeri, sigara borek, lahmacun, lamb shish kebab and grilled sea bass. What a delightful spread of vegetables and meats, grilled and roasted. For five guests, beers and wine we budgeted around £30 a head not including tip. We make this place an annual pilgrimage when visiting the UK.
Great choice of traditional Mediterranean food, freshly prepared and the best is the service, which comes with a smile. Small requests are also no issue, i.e. some extra chips, bread etc. The prices may seem a little steep, but once the portions are served and the quality is represented, you understand why. Recommend.
I've eaten here a few times and always had a really good experience, with friendly caring staff, excellent food and a great ambiance. Always busy so best to book ahead. Enjoyed an absolutely delicious shish kebab last night, along with bulgar wheat and salads, so fresh and full of flavour! Make sure to ask for the chilli and garlic sauces to accompany your meal. Would thoroughly recommend.
Always try and visit when we're down from Glasgow. Food excellent as are the staff very attentive. Had my 60th birthday meal here. The Monday night meze is amazing value.
